Sanaullah says the authority of the judiciary was made transparent by the parliament

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) senior leader Rana Sanaullah on Tuesday took aim at Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), calling out their alleged corruption and attempts to mislead the nation.

Mr Sanaullah criticised PTI on the announcement of sending notice to Maryam Nawaz, the daughter of former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, instead of appearing before the court themselves to answer about their own alleged corruption.

He also had strong words for PTI's press conference earlier in the day, where Fawad Chaudhary spoke about the ongoing political situation in the country.

"Throwing dirt, insulting and threatening opponents and institutions is Imran Khan's style," Mr Sanaullah said, adding that "lawyers and journalists who speak against Imran Khan were always accused by him on being payroll."

He went on to say that anyone who doesn't do the bidding of PTI was labeled as being on PML-N's payroll, and any journalist who speaks the truth was called a "Lifafa" (bribe-taker) by PTI.

Mr Sanaullah also took a jibe at PTI supremo Imran Khan, suggesting that his wife, Bushra Bibi, should put a bucket on his head and take him to court. He called on Imran Khan to answer about the envelope of 190 million pounds that Imran Niazi allegedly defrauded, and accused the party of targeting the entire national treasury.

"The authority of the judiciary has been made transparent by the parliament, misuse of position, chair and authority was the biggest violation of the constitution," Mr Sanaullah concluded.
